How Do I Get the Subscription Email Address?

You can help potential subscribers to sign up for a group by providing them a subscription email address. When a blank email is sent to this address, it will add the sender's email address to your list of subscribers for that particular group.  

To get the subscription email address for a group:

1. Click on Subscribers and Groups in the main menu.

2. On the Manage Subscribers screen, click the Manage Groups hyperlink.

3. On the Manage Groups screen, the Subscribe Address column will display the email address that can be used to signup for each specific group. The format of the email address is as follows:

The name of the group, followed a period, the group ID, the @ symbol, and the domain name INFONOW.CC

• Example: For a group with the name Newsletter Subscribers and a Group ID of 466, the email would be Newsletter.Subscribers.466@InfoNow.CC

NOTE: When you provide the subscription email address to potential subscribers, you can change the words that appear before the Group ID in this email address, and the messages will still populate your subscriber list, as long as you obey the following rules:

• There must be no numbers before the Group ID in the email address.

• Any spaces must be replaced with periods or dashes.

• If there is anything before the Group ID, there must be a period before the Group ID

• Example:

• Newsletter.Subscribers.466@InfoNow.CC could be changed to the addresses listed below, and sending email to the addresses would still sign up people for the group, because the Group ID and the domain name have remained unchanged. So to sign up for the Newsletter Subscribers group, people could send email to any of the following addresses:

• Get.My.Newsletter.Now.466@InfoNow.CC

• Free.Deals.466@InfoNow.CC

• 466@InfoNow.CC

• Auto.Responder.466@InfoNow.CC
